Peace Intelligence Commons Opens, Inviting Teams Worldwide to Help Prove Peace Is Possible

A global co-opetition and mass collaboration will bring human and artificial intelligence into service to peace from September 11–21.

CLINTON, WA, UNITED STATES, August 24, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — The Peace Intelligence Commons is now open, inviting people and organizations everywhere to form or join teams for 11 Days to Prove Peace Is Possible, taking place September 11–21, 2026.

Hosted within the One World online network, the Peace Intelligence Commons will be the shared home for a global co-opetition and mass collaboration—connecting people, missions and resources in service to peace.

At the heart of the initiative is an emerging team of teams. Peacebuilders, affected communities, humanitarian organizations, Indigenous leaders, diplomats, researchers, storytellers, technologists, faith communities, social movements and people everywhere are invited to bring the capabilities only they can contribute.

Every person and organization can be a team. A mission might take one hour, several days or all eleven days. Teams might contribute peacebuilding, research, humanitarian assistance, technology, storytelling, art, prayer, organizing, relationships or another capability entirely.

Each team is invited to declare:
* Who they are
* What capability they bring
* What mission they will undertake
* How their contribution can help make peace possible

Teams will carry out their missions during the eleven days and share what they accomplish, discover and learn.

“This is not a competition to defeat one another,” said Jon Ramer, Executive Director of Compassion Games International. “It is a co-opetition to call forward our highest capabilities—and discover what becomes possible when we work as a team of teams for a collective win.”

Bringing Frontier Intelligence Into the Team of Teams

One participating team, AI for Peace, is calling on the world’s frontier AI laboratories—including OpenAI, Anthropic, Google DeepMind, Meta, Microsoft and xAI—to join the co-opetition.

The labs are being invited to bring their advanced intelligence, research capabilities and global reach into collaboration with human experience, Indigenous wisdom, diplomacy, peacebuilding and the leadership of affected communities.

Their participation could help the team of teams understand conflicts more deeply, recognize overlooked connections, identify practical interventions and strengthen promising solutions already underway.

“The true measure of intelligence is not only what it can produce,” Ramer said. “It is what it helps us protect, heal and make possible.”

AI alone cannot create peace. But bringing the capabilities of frontier AI together with the many forms of human intelligence offers a new possibility—and one reason to believe humanity may be able to achieve what has remained out of reach for 25 years.

A Shared Home for Peace Intelligence

Within the Peace Intelligence Commons, participants can:

* Discover missions and opportunities to collaborate
* Share intelligence, relationships, resources and requests
* Find initiatives already making a difference
* Follow progress throughout the eleven days
* Contribute stories and evidence showing that peace is possible

The Commons will accompany the Peace Intelligence Room, a live, interactive gathering place operating throughout September 11–21. Together, they form the Peace Intelligence Platform—an emerging infrastructure for connecting people, coordinating action and turning shared intelligence into responsible action.

An Unfinished Promise

The eleven days lead to the United Nations International Day of Peace on September 21, designated in 2001 as an annual day of global ceasefire and nonviolence.

Twenty-five years later, that promise remains both urgent and unfinished.

11 Days to Prove Peace Is Possible asks:
What could become possible if humanity brought its many forms of intelligence—human, technological, relational, cultural and spiritual—into service to one shared goal?

Success will not depend on a single leader, organization or technology. It will depend on many teams bringing what they know, whom they know and what they can do—and learning how to work together.
