COLUMBUS, OH, UNITED STATES, August 20, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — Alpha Eta Rho has opened nominations for its first-ever 5 Under 25 award, which will recognize five active members under the age of 25 who are already making a difference in collegiate aviation.

The new 5 Under 25 award is meant to celebrate the members who are carrying that tradition forward. Whether they are leading a chapter, mentoring fellow students, giving back through service, excelling in the classroom or workplace, or finding new ways to support aviation, these individuals represent the energy and promise of the next generation.

“Alpha Eta Rho has always been built around students who care deeply about aviation and want to make a positive impact,” said Benjamin O’Brien, Chief Executive Officer. “This award gives us a chance to recognize a few of those members and share their stories with the broader aviation community.”

To be eligible, nominees must be active Alpha Eta Rho members and younger than 25 on March 1, 2027. Nominations are encouraged for members whose leadership, service, academic or professional accomplishments, and commitment to aviation have made a meaningful impact.

Five recipients will be named to Alpha Eta Rho’s inaugural 5 Under 25 class during the annual Collegiate Aviation Symposium, held February 28th-March 2nd, 2027, in Columbus, OH.
