TicketsCandy now lets event organizers connect multiple ticket printers and assign different printers to each POS station.

Staff should be able to sell a ticket and have it print right where that sale is happening.”

LOS ANGELES, CA, UNITED STATES, September 8, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — TicketsCandy, an event ticketing platform, has released a new update to its POS Ticket Printer app that allows event organizers to connect multiple receipt printers to the same event.

The update is built for events that run more than one sales station, entrance, or box office location.

Organizers were previously limited to one connected receipt printer per event. The new system allows several printers to work at the same time while each POS device keeps its own preferred printer.

A front entrance computer can print tickets at the front gate. A main box office computer can use another printer across the venue. A VIP check-in station can send tickets to a printer located at a separate entrance.

All three stations can sell tickets for the same event without staff having to constantly change printer settings.

“This came from a very practical event-day problem,” said Dmitry Yarchuk, CEO of TicketsCandy. “Once an event has several entrances or sales stations, sending every printed ticket to the same printer stops making sense. Staff should be able to sell a ticket and have it print right where that sale is happening.”

Each POS Station Can Have Its Own Printer

TicketsCandy now saves the default printer for each browser or device.

This means organizers can set up different printing workflows across the same event.

For example, a festival may have one computer at the main gate, another sales station near parking, and an iPad at a VIP entrance.

Each device can be connected to its own nearby receipt printer.

The printer choice is remembered on that device for future sessions. Staff do not need to select the same printer again after every sale.

The setup can also work for venues with separate box office windows.

A theater could assign one printer to advance ticket pickup and another to walk-up sales. A large attraction could keep separate printers at different entrances. A fair or festival could place several temporary ticket stations around the property.

Automatic Printing Can Be Set Per Printer

Each connected printer has its own settings.

Organizers can choose whether tickets print automatically after a POS sale or whether staff must press a Print Tickets button.

This makes it possible to use different workflows at different stations.

A busy main entrance may benefit from automatic printing so tickets come out as soon as payment is completed.

A customer service desk may prefer manual printing because staff only need printed tickets in certain situations.

Automatic printing works when a default printer is selected for that POS device and automatic printing is enabled for that printer.

If automatic printing is turned off, staff can print the tickets manually after the transaction.

Staff Can Also Choose a Printer for Each Sale

Organizers do not have to assign a permanent printer to every POS station.

TicketsCandy includes a Select Printer Each Time option.

When this setting is used, staff can choose from the event’s connected printers whenever they manually print a ticket.

This can be useful for mobile sales stations or shared devices that sometimes need to send tickets to different locations.

For example, one staff member may move between a front desk and a side entrance during the event. Instead of changing a saved default printer each time, the staff member can simply choose the correct printer when needed.

For events where a POS device normally stays in one place, selecting a default printer can reduce extra steps and speed up the sale.

Printers Can Be Managed From One Event Dashboard

All connected printers are managed from the POS Ticket Printer app inside the TicketsCandy event dashboard.

Organizers can add new printers and give each one a clear name such as Front Entrance, Main Box Office, or VIP Entrance.

The dashboard also shows whether a printer is currently online or offline.

Printer settings can be edited at any time. Organizers can also remove printers that are no longer being used.

Clear printer names can be especially useful for events with several temporary sales locations.

A simple naming system based on physical location can help staff avoid sending tickets to the wrong part of the venue.

Tickets Can Be Reprinted From Any Connected Printer

The multi-printer update also applies after a sale is completed.

Tickets can be reprinted from the TicketsCandy admin dashboard through the Order Details page.

When several printers are connected, staff can choose which printer should receive the ticket.

This can help with common event-day situations.

A customer may lose a printed ticket. A family may need another copy at a different entrance. Box office staff may need to reprint a ticket after reviewing an order.

Instead of changing the default POS printer, staff can choose the correct printer for that specific reprint.

“Event-day tools need to stay simple because staff are usually working quickly and dealing with people standing right in front of them,” Yarchuk said. “The goal of this update was to give larger events more control without adding extra steps for smaller events that only need one printer.”

The multiple printer update is now available through the TicketsCandy POS Ticket Printer app.
