SRM, a trusted advisory firm serving financial institutions globally, today announced that Jeffrey Bray has joined the firm as Technology Practice Leader. As financial institutions look to accelerate change under mounting cost, competitive, and regulatory pressures, the move deepens SRM’s investment in one of the strategic areas that clients are prioritizing and investing in.
As Technology Practice Leader, Bray will set the practice’s growth strategy and consult across engagements with bank and credit union executives navigating technology road maps, core conversions, digital transformation, cloud migration, AI adoption, and vendor consolidation.
“Our clients are making some of the biggest technology decisions of their careers right now, and they need a partner who has actually run these transformations, not just advised on them,” said Brad Downs, CEO at SRM. “Jeff’s done that work himself across all types of financial institutions, and his leadership strengthens our ability to support clients all the way through execution, not just strategy.”
Bray joins SRM with more than 30 years of technology, operations and transformation leadership in financial services, including more than 35 M&A integrations and over 50 enterprise transformations spanning digital banking, lending, payments, and risk management. Most recently, he served as Senior Managing Director at Harbor Light Advisory, advising financial institutions and investors on technology transformation, M&A and risk management.
SRM already has a strong track record with clients on technology, modernization, and conversions. That’s exactly the foundation I want to build on—giving leaders independent, vendor-agnostic guidance they can act on with confidence. I’m looking forward to building on that and helping institutions move faster and with greater confidence without losing sight of what actually matters to their customers or members and their bottom line,” said Bray.
