Parallel Technologies names Jon Marks CEO, effective Aug. 11. Marks joins from Tanknology, previously held roles at Honeywell, Johnson Controls.

With more than two decades of executive leadership experience, Jon brings a proven track record of scaling businesses, driving operational excellence, and building high-performing teams across the security, building technology and services sectors.

Most recently, Jon served as President of Tanknology, a field-based services business with nearly 500 employees, from 2024 to 2026. Before that, Jon built his career over nearly two decades at Honeywell and Johnson Controls, where he held a series of General Management, commercial, operations, and strategy leadership roles in the building technology industry. Jon holds an MBA from Vlerick Business School and a BA in Business & Communications from Lake Forest College.
