A father has been arrested in Sunny Isles Beach, part of the Miami-Fort Lauderdale area, after his 4-year-old son was found wandering alone on Collins Avenue. The incident occurred when a police officer on duty discovered the disoriented child during a traffic stop.
The young boy was reportedly carrying pizza when he was found. According to reports, the child’s father, identified as Semyon Levin, stated that he had lost sight of his son for approximately one hour. Levin explained that he had been at a nearby Starbucks and did not immediately contact authorities, as he did not believe the situation constituted an emergency.
