Miami Fort Lauderdale, FL, October 23, 2026 —
Concert residencies are increasingly attracting a wider range of performers, including younger artists, as the format moves beyond its traditional association with artists nearing retirement. The trend includes major stars such as Harry Styles and Celine Dion, according to the information provided.
Rather than a single performance or a tour across multiple stops, residencies involve artists undertaking multi-date engagements. The reported locations span established entertainment hubs, including Las Vegas, New York and Los Angeles, as well as Puerto Rico and Paris.
The spread of residencies across those destinations points to a format that can take place in varied settings. The trend summary describes the engagements as offering artists and fans a different way to experience live music, though it does not provide details about particular productions, venues or audience numbers.
The shift also reflects a change in how residencies are perceived. Once associated chiefly with retiring artists, they are now drawing younger performers as well, according to the summary. It does not identify which younger artists are participating beyond naming Harry Styles among the major stars, nor does it specify the length or schedule of any individual engagement.
No figures were provided on the number of current residencies, ticket sales, attendance or the financial terms of these engagements. The information also does not identify when the trend began or provide examples of specific upcoming dates. As described, the central development is the format’s widening appeal among performers and its presence in both major entertainment centers and locations beyond them.
