Early Voting Begins Across South Florida Counties

Miami Fort Lauderdale, FL, October 18, 2026 —

Early voting for the general election is commencing across South Florida, including Miami-Dade, Broward and Monroe counties. The election includes high-profile races and several ballot initiatives, while tracking data indicates greater voter interest than in previous midterm elections.

The available information does not identify the specific races or ballot initiatives, or provide details about the tracking data. It also does not state when early voting began, how long it will continue, or how voter interest was measured. No figures were provided to quantify the reported increase.

The trend summary describes early voting as commencing across the three counties, but does not give county-by-county schedules or other voting arrangements. It does not specify which offices are contested, what the ballot measures would do, or how many voters have participated. Those details are not available in the information provided.

The reported increase concerns voter interest compared with previous midterms; the summary does not say whether the comparison refers to turnout, inquiries, registrations or another measure. It also does not identify the source or timing of the tracking data. As a result, the reported change cannot be quantified or independently characterized from the summary alone.

For now, the information establishes that early voting is getting underway in Miami-Dade, Broward and Monroe counties and that the general election includes prominent contests and multiple ballot initiatives. More specific details about voting dates, the races, the measures and the interest data were not provided.
